DR. WILLIAM C. (BILL) MEREDITH Dr. William C. Bill Meredith, 78, Grand Forks, ND died Thursday, October 18, 2007 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. William was born October 20, 1928 in Watrous, Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of William and Thora (Christie) Meredith. He moved as a young child to Glenboro, Manitoba where he was raised and graduated from high school. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg in 1949, then graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. He served a two year residency at St. Boniface Hospital at St. Boniface, Manitoba. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2007 in Wesley United Methodist Church of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with an 8:00 p.m. prayer service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the church.
