KORY RILEY EDWIN WIEBE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, Kory Riley Edwin Wiebe, on October 19, 2007 at the young age of 17 years old. With family surrounding his bed, and just one hour and 34 minutes past his 17th birthday, Kory took his last breath here on earth and fell into the arms of Jesus. Even though Kory's time with us was much too short, Kory's happy life was lived to the fullest. When Kory became very sick on Sunday, October 14, 2007, we, as a family, decided that Kory needed to go home. He has been set free of cerebral palsy, seizures and any other pain that he has endured. He is once again whole and joined with his twin brother Kyle, who had previously died while he was still within his mother's womb. Kory was predeceased by Kyle on October 18, 1990, great-grandpa Klaus P. Unger, great-grandmother Nettie Unger, grandpa Edwin Wiebe, grandma Bernice Wiebe and grandpa William Kelly. Kory leaves behind his loving parents, Riley and Carolyn Wiebe; sister Courtney and brother Brett, his friendly puppies Abbie, Emily, Amiee and Buddy. He also leaves behind his only Nana, Faith Scott, who was there for Kory each step of his life. He is also survived by Papa John Scott, Grandma Eleanor Wiebe, Great-grandmother Helen Hansen, very special Auntie Brenda and Uncle Doug, and cousins Dillan and Kelly Pistun. In addition, he will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kory was born October 18, 1990 in Winnipeg, MB He lived with his family until the age of 4, and then moved into his second home at the St. Amant Centre. Although Kory did not reside a long time with his family, he enjoyed spending a lot of time with us during home visits. He was so special and loved by all who knew him, including his second family at St. Amant. Kory attended St. Amant School for many wonderful years. His best subject was music which he loved, the louder the better. Due to his health, near the end, Kory's last outing was a surprise visit at his Aunt Brenda's and Uncle Doug's home. He celebrated Easter and Nana's birthday with his mother's side of the family. That day was very special to us as we remember it as his last happiest time ever. His cousin Kelly played the piano and Kory was laughing so loud that the sound and expression from him will never be forgotten. We want everyone to know that he loved his family and friends with all his precious heart and that his happiest moments were spent with those he cherished the most. The family would like to say thank-you to everyone for their prayers and support. Even though Kory had to celebrate his birthday in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, he enjoyed having cake and music with his family and friends. We would like to extend special thanks to his St. Amant family as without them Kory's life would not have been the same. Thank you's also must go out to Dr. Lipnowski, the Pediatric Special Care Unit, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Dr. Drew. Pallbearers are Dillan Pistun, Kelly Pistun, Blake Wiebe, Shane Recksiedler, Tiffany Recksiedler, Cole Recksiedler and Justin Wiebe.
