Quickly and quietly on the morning of October 19, 2007 Janet Ann Edwards passed away in her home. Janet was predeceased by her father James Parris. Janet is survived by her husband Carlton; sons, CJ, Nigel, and Nolan; mother Vivian; sister Dorothy; brothers, James (Diane) and Marshall; sister-in-law of Pam, Barbara, Paul, Colin, and John; nieces and nephews, Keiley (Blair), Douglas, Keelan, Ashlen, and Damon; grandchild Felicia and three others; great-niece and nephew Sierra and Graham; cat Tigger; and friends. Janet was born on April 23, 1957 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Janet was an amazing person. She was employed by the Federal Government for 31 years where she actively participated in many multicultural committees, sat on the board of PEASC and earned her certificate in Human Resource Management. She will truly be missed and forever loved. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in her memory.
