SANDRA GAYLE TAYLOR (nee WEEKS) Peacefully, on October 19, 2007, at Brandon Hospital at the age of 51. Sandra was born March 22, 1956 in Manitou. She was raised in Snowflake, Manitoba, attended Snowflake Elementary School and graduated from Thomas Greenway Collegiate in Crystal City. She is survived by her husband Kim Taylor; daughter Erin (Kurt); daughter Holly (Danny); and son Trevor; her mother Vivian Weeks; sister JoAnne Pelzer (Larry); brother Curtis Weeks; sister-in-law Alice Ann Anderson (Ric); brother-in-law Jeff Taylor (Ursule); niece Mavis Delaronde (Richard), and three great-nephews. She was predeceased by her father Hugh Weeks; sister and brother-in-law Tracey and Rod Moores, and her in-laws Jack and Hazel Taylor. After graduation, she lived in Winnipeg and worked at MTS in Data Processing. In 1979, she married Kim Taylor and moved to the farm in Snowflake. Besides being a wife and mother, she was employed by Snowflake Farm Supply, the Pilot Mound Pharmacy, and Canada Post. She was a devoted mother, a tremendous cook, and an avid reader. She enjoyed golf and curling until her health began to fail. She was a caring, loving person who had many friends. Sandra was very supportive of her husband in both his farming and municipal activities. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Manitou United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pembina Manitou Area Foundation, Box 535, Manitou, MB R0G 1G0.
