ANNA SLOBODIAN On Sunday, October 21, 2007, at Tuxedo Villa, Anna passed away peacefully at age 91 years. Remaining to forever cherish Anna's memory are her son Orest Allison (Doris); daughter Karen Kozub (Reg); stepdaughter Jean Schamberger (Willi); stepson Joe (Ingrid); ten grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren; and one sister Olga of Pasadena, CA. She was predeceased by her husband William; and siblings, Mary, Stella, Michael and William. Anna was born September 7, 1916 at Poplarfield, MB to Joseph and Anastasia Dudar. Over the years she was associated with various congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses, most recently with Wolever Park and Strathcona congregations. Anna shared her faith with others and took great comfort in the hope of a resurrection to life on a paradise earth. John 5:28, 29. Public visitation will be held on Thursday October 25 from 7:00 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Blvd. Burial will take place on Friday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. For those who wish to join the family, please meet at the cemetery main entrance gates at 1:45 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall Centre, 227 Lakewood Blvd. with Anthony Markham, presider. The family wishes to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa for their excellent care and compassion.
