AINSLIE MYA LAVALLEE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ainslie Mya Lavallee on Sunday, October 21, 2007. Ainslie Honey Bunny was born on August 29, 2005. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are Mama (Carrie) and Big Brother Owen, Papa Glen and Grannie Mareta, Grandma Val and Papa Paul, her Great-Grandparents Theresa and Rube, Pauline, Denise (GiGi), Kathleen and Georgette, Aunty Kat and Uncle Jeff, Uncle Ron and all her big cousins including the twins on the way as well as numerous other relatives. Ainslie overcame many obstacles in her life. She surpassed all the odds and reached many milestones in her life. She leaves behind her courage, strength and determination for those who loved her most. She was a true fighter. She loved sitting at the window watching people and cars going by, anything that involved her moving, bouncing or swinging around, her bath time, music and anything that lit up or flashed. She especially loved just being outside and so many other things. . She loved to throw her toys down and watch while we picked them up with her cheesy mischievous smile. Her smile could light up any room. She adored playing and watching her big brother Owen and always had a huge smile when she saw him or heard his voice. She enjoyed her moments with her Buddy or #2 as well as many other special moments shared with family. Ainslie also enjoyed her visits with Diane. Her favorite nursery songs were Itsy bitsy spider , Twinkle twinkle little star , and Head and shoulders . She always had a huge smile on her face before the first words of the song were even sung ... she just knew what was coming. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. McLeod, Dr. Harlos, Simone and all the staff at Children's Hospital and particularly the staff on CH4. You were all instrumental in Ainslie's care and she was always well taken care of. We would also like to thank anyone else who has touched Ainslie's life. A service in celebration of Ainslie's life will be held on Saturday October 27, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Remembrances in Ainslie's name may be made to the Variety Children's Heart Centre, in care of Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, CE 501-840 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1S1. Ainslie was a special gift and will be cherished but missed forever. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
