Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY (DORA) HIEBERT It is with great sadness that the family announces that Dorothy (Dora) Hiebert nee Derksen age 56, of Winnipeg, formerly of Grunthal and Rosenheim near Horndean, wife of Martin Hiebert, passed away on October 21, 2007 at 6:45 p.m. at her home. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Derksen of Grunthal, formerly of Rosenheim. She is survived by her loving husband Martin, of Winnipeg, sister Eva Doerksen of Steinbach, (Willie of Winnipeg) and their family; sister Mary (John Falk) of Randolph, her stepmother Tina Derksen of Steinbach and sister-in-law Anne Derksen of Steinbach. She is also survived by two stepsisters and two step-brothers and their families. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Henry Derksen She married Martin on July 30, 1972. They lived at various places in Manitoba. Dorothy and Martin moved to Paraguay in 1987, and returned to Manitoba in 1989. In 1998, Dorothy's kidneys failed due to diabetes and she was on dialysis for two and one-half years. She had a successful kidney transplant on September 1, 2000, at the Health Sciences Centre. A viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 28, at 2:00 p.m. at Callsbeck Church, 1445 Callsbeck Ave. Winnipeg with interment to follow at the New Bothwell Sommerfeld Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to assist the family with funeral costs. You are pain free and with Jesus. We love you all. See you in Heaven. The Family.
