Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) MITCHELL Formerly of Transcona and Dogtooth Lake, Ontario, died on October 10, 2007 in Hospice at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC. He was born in Arden, MB on November 30, 1931 to Hannah (nee Lord ) and George Mitchell. Bill died of lung cancer. After retiring from Manitoba Hydro, Bill and wife Vivian spent a happy retirement in Weslaco, Texas in the winter and at beautiful Dogtooth Lake in the summer. Bill was a fisherman and loved nothing more than to sit out on the lake in his boat. Surviving him are his loving wife Vivian; two children: Robert (June) and Cathy (Terry) Sherb; Grandchildren: Alycia and Matthew Mitchell, and Evan Sherb; brothers: Ted in Flin Flon and Clarence (Veronica) in Lakefield, ON. and his three children; cousins and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Interment will be in the family plot in Transcona Cemetery (Winnipeg) next spring. Many thanks to the nurses at Victoria Hospice.
