MONA BOYD Peacefully, with her family at her side, Mona Boyd, aged 87 passed away at Calvary Place Personal Care Home on the morning of October 19, 2007. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William (1970), brothers John, Frank and Fred, sisters Jane and Ilfra, and her devoted and beloved daughter Delphine Grywinski on October 11, 2007. Remaining to cherish Mona's memory are her sons Bill (Sheila), Daryl and Kevin (Pam), son-in-law Ron Grywinski and grandchildren Terri, Krissy, Jacey and Brooke-Lynn. Mona was born on August 3, 1920 at the family's homestead in Camper, Manitoba. She was the youngest child of Francis and Harriet Fudge, and often talked fondly of her memories growing up and working on the farm with her older brothers. It was there on the farm where she met William. They later married and moved to Winnipeg to raise a family together. She was dearly dedicated to her family. She was a loving and caring mother, and later a loving and dedicated granny to her four grandchildren. She was always kind and generous to others. All who were blessed to have known and loved her will miss her dearly. She will live forever in our hearts and memories. Memories are like threads of gold They will never tarnish nor grow old As you were you will always be Treasured thoughts in our memory. A special thank you to Carmen and Andy for all their kindness during Mom's health decline.
