HAROLD GORDON HICKS Harold Gordon Hicks, 74, passed away peacefully, at home, on October 25, 2007. He was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, and lived in Saskatoon, Edmonton, Brandon and Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon Sydney and Harriet (née Griffith); and his sister Lois Selina. He is survived by his beloved wife Madeleine (née Bienvenue); his children, Geoffrey (Cindy), Randall (Wendy), Carolyn, Daniel; and his cherished granddaughter Claire (-Bear). In addition, he leaves his brother Ken (Carola); his sister Heather (Louis) Kolla; and his many nieces and nephews. Many will remember him through his careers in banking, accounting, insurance and in the past 23 years with RE/MAX. He was strong in his faith and active in the church and community. Harold enjoyed his leisure time with his family and friends at Pelican Lake. He had an incredible talent to befriend all those he met. He touched many with his kind-heartedness, honesty and integrity. He always liked to spice life up with a little pepper. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the Parish of St. Timothy, 135 John Forsyth Rd., Winnipeg, MB.
