ANNA WIEDER It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Mom, Anna, on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 74 years. Remaining to forever cherish Anna's memory are her children, Ken (Penny) of Calgary, Randy (Marianne) of Winnipeg, daughter Leona Liski (Mark) of Calgary; grandchildren, Melany, Ryan, Alicia, Bradley, Joshua; and also her cat Fluffy. Born near Vita, Manitoba, Anna moved to Winnipeg at a young age where she met the Love of her life, Marion. In March of this year she lost her soul mate who she missed very much. Anna was very talented with ceramics, knitting and crocheting, and was a most excellent cook. In respecting Mom's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held and a private family celebration of her life will take place at a later date. The family would like to express our sincere thank you to the staff of N3E, especially Maryann, Chris, Janina, Tess, Ron and also the staff of ICU, at the time of our need. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 0V9 or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 0R3.
