Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE (KRAHN) HUDRICK On the evening of October 25, 2007, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away at Steinbach, Manitoba at the age of 51 years. Irene will be lovingly remembered by Ed, her husband of 33 years; sons, Edward (Kori) and Michael (Kristi); grandson, Ryder; mother, Helen Krahn; sister, Linda Rosenthal (Rudy); sister, Mary Duthie (Bill); brother, John Krahn (Amanda); brothers-in-law, Tony, Rudy (Denise), Joseph Jr., James (Diane) and John (Lynn), and sister-in-law, Ann Zelmer (Doug), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Irene was predeceased by her father, John; mother-in-law, Olga; father-in-law, Joseph; brother-in-law, Donald; sister-in-law, Mary and nephew, Rob. Irene was born on August 30, 1956 and lived a vibrant childhood on a dairy farm in Grunthal. She married Edward Hudrick on November 10, 1973 and they spent most of their marriage living in Dufresne, raising their two sons. Irene loved gardening flowers and vegetables, as long as she had the energy. A dedicated wife, mother and friend, tireless worker, caring and selfless soul who had touched so many lives and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Irene's most precious gift was her generous spirit, always willing to help others in whatever way she could. She is well remembered for her determination and will, always giving her best in the variety of endeavours she undertook, never shying away from any challenge. Thanks to Irene's friends at Granny's Poultry, who were like her family. Also, thanks to Dr. Toews and all the staff at Bethesda Hospital and Cancer Care for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Eulogy will be said at 10:15 a.m.. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Notre Dame de Lorette Parish, Lorette, MB., the Rev. Fr. Armand Le Gal, o.m.i., presiding. Interment will follow in the Lorette Parish Cemetery. Honourary pallbearers will be nephews and nieces; Rudy Hudrick Jr., Mathew Krahn, Daniel Krahn, Bernard Vajdl, Scott Duthie, Shawn Duthie, Chris Hudrick, Jason Hudrick, Jamie Hudrick, John Hudrick Jr., Daniel Hudrick, Nathan Zelmer, David Zelmer, Janet Pickering, Linda Hudrick, Christine Hudrick, Brenda Rosenthal, Janice Mitchell and Krystle Hudrick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
