BRIAN LODEN November 26, 1942 - October 26, 2007 On Friday October 26, 2007 Brian Loden our wonderful husband, father, brother, and Gigi lost his battle with cancer. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 41 years Marilyn, daughter Jan (Joe) Fernandes; sons, Brian and Patrick; granddaughters, Jennifer and Michelle Fernandes; brother Jerry (Carol); mother-in-law Mary Kosmuk; in-laws, Joann and David, George and Jill, Donna and Ralph. As well as aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Bemie and Jean Loden and father in-law George Kosmuk. Brian grew up in the North end where he met Marilyn. They married in 1966 and spent the next 41 years raising their children and being involved in every aspect of their lives. Brian loved spending time with his family and many friends at the cottage in Winnipeg Beach. Two of the greatest joys in his life were his granddaughters, Jennifer and Michelle. The family would like to thank the dedicated Doctors and staff at HSC. The staff on GH3 are truly wonderful. A special thank you to Marybeth at the renal clinic for all the care and kindness you had for Brian and the family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Ave., with Fr. Henryk Laciak officiating.
