JEAN NAGY Jean Nagy, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 28, 2007in Widsor, ON at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of Joseph for 44 years. Loving mother of Lisa and husband Louie Raffoul. Cherished granny to Adam, Eric and Aaron. Dear sister to Pete Sywy and wife the late Helen. Survived by nephews, Peter and Bob and wife Sandi. Will also be sadly missed by the Raffoul family and many close friends and neighbours. Jean volunteered for many years with Windsor Legion Track Field Club. Jean also enjoyed going to Aqua Fitness at the Gino Marcus Centre. Other hobbies included gardening, cooking and travelling. Many thanks to all of the home care nurses especially Shirley, Julie and Christine. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh, ON (519-735-2830) Rev. Steve Atkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Windsor Memorial Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Hospice of Windsor or to Community Living Essex County would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jean Nagy in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 28, 2008. All are welcome.
