KATHLEEN DOWNING (TEEN) Recently of Sanford, MB, formerly of Marquette, Kathleen aged 83 peacefully passed away on Friday, October 26, 2007. Kathleen was born on September 12, 1924 in Angusvill, MB She was the youngest child of William and Martha Angus. She met and married Norman in Winnipeg and then moved to Marquette. There they farmed for many years before retiring to Sanford. Kathleen leaves to mourn her passing, her son Ernest (Bernice); daughters, Louise Downing, Norma (Victor) Cade, Julieann (Gordon) Vivier; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, and eight great-grandchildren. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Norman, her mother and father, all her siblings and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall MB with Rev. Pat Wotton officiating. Interment will follow at the Warren Cemetery, her grandchildren will be her pallbearers. In lieu of flowers friends may donate to the Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one's choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of arrangements.
