Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGARY WILLIAM CURRIE It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gary William Currie on October 25, 2007 at the age of 49. Left to mourn his passing are his mother Irene, brother Daryl and his wife Zdenka and children, Allan Currie and Brenda Currie. He was predeceased by his father Allan Currie in July 2000. In addition he leaves to mourn uncles, aunts, many cousins and friends all over the world whom he met through his musical career. Gary was born in Winnipeg on July 3, 1958. He most recently resided in Bowlus, Minnesota. Gary was a professional musician, he started his musical career at age five and played professionally by 12. He was considered by his peers a world class musician. Special thanks to Jordi Stay and family and Pastor Randy and Gail Leavitt, whom were special friends to Gary. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel 1800 Day St. You will forever be in my heart Daryl Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.

So saddend upon hearing about Gary's passing. When we were kids we became great friends and I played in his first band along with Glenn Zaretski. Always impressed with his musicianship.
