Bob was dedicated and faithful to his career as an electrician. He worked for Thompson Electric, Johnson Controls and ABCO, retiring in 1998. He was a faithful and loving husband to his one and only love, Deanna. He devoted his life to serving others and his Lord. Family, friends and acquaintances were always a priority. Bob was an active participant of his home church, Charleswood Gospel Temple, where he served in many capacities. In recent months, Bob's failing health and increasing physical limitations presented many challenges for him. Throughout it all he maintained his unselfish and kind demeanor, as well as a remarkably tenacious spirit and faith. He had a strong will to live and fought bravely despite his pain, right to the end. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Charleswood Gospel Temple south of Roblin Boulevard on the Perimeter Highway. Viewing will take place one hour prior to, and one hour after the service. Interment will follow Friday, November 2, 2007, 1:00 p.m. at Waverley Memorial Gardens located on Waverley and Chevrier Boulevard, Winnipeg.
