BEGGA THORANNA WISHNOWSKI (nee ANDERSON) Peacefully on October 27, 2007 at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, with her children at her side, Begga Wishnowski, aged 75 years, of Riverton, MB, beloved wife of the late Stanley Wishnowski. Begga was born in Geysir, MB on September 18, 1932 and attended school in Riverton. Before marrying Stanley in 1950 she had worked at the Riverton Co-op. Mom's life focus was on her family, children and grandchildren. Her living room filled with pictures of the ones she loved and cared for. Mom loved her flowers and garden and had a talent in making things grow. Her special skill in sewing, crocheting and knitting and making something from nothing was admired by many. She shared these treasures with others, especially family. In the early years Mom toiled hard on the family farm, especially when Stan was away working. Although Begga had a quiet nature she had a strong determination and work ethic to make sure of her family's well being. Begga was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Stanley, in 2005, a sister Val Magnusson and her parents Sveini and Runa Anderson. She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Clifford, Russell (Cathy) and Rena Zinkowski (Michael); grandchildren Clint (Ruby), Rachel (Bill), Dezrae, Daley, Cassie, Wendy (Ian), Eric, Vince (Wendy), Les (Jenn), Justin and Travis; great-grandchildren Emily, Adam and Brayden; a brother Sveini Anderson, a sister Solla Woodard and sister Elsie Einarson (Norman). A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 30 (today) at 11:30 a.m. at the Riverton Community Cemetery with Pastor Trudy Thorarinson officiating. Her pallbearers will be her grandsons. Special thanks to Solla, Sveini and good friends Olga and Betty for their love and support through these past months. Mom's compassion, love and self sacrifice, were her strengths that withstood the test of time. Showing us a legacy of love that will be felt and remembered by her family. She truly was the perfect example of the others first philosophy. No more suffering, no more pain, perfect rest, with Jesus. Gilbart Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
