MYRTLE MAY HOGER (COX) Peacefully with her daughter and son-in-law at her side, Myrtle went home to be with her Lord whom she loved and served on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at the age of 87 years. Mom will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her two children, son Gary (Margaret); daughter Patricia (Menno) Sawatsky; eight grandchildren, Rob (Tammy); Bill (Paola); Aaron (Christy); Colleen (Mark); Mike (Jessica); Doug; Tricia (Jacob) and Catherine (David); and six great-grandchildren, Jayme, Abigail, Brady, Kiana, Nicole, and Jesse; two sisters, Elsie and Florence; and one brother Ed (Alice); and sister-in-law Eileen. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert; two brothers, Ken and Gordon; and one sister Alice. The two most important aspects of Mom's life were her love for Christ and her love for her family. Mom loved to be around family and was so very proud of her children and grandchildren. She was a quiet, dignified woman who lived her life for Christ daily. Mom was very involved at Calvary Temple until symptoms of Alzheimer's made it necessary for her to be admitted to Calvary Place Personal Care Home where she was cared for with great love and respect. Viewing will be held Thursday, November 1 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 1531 Pembina Hwy. A private family service will be held on Friday with interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Place Personal Care Home.
