DOUGLAS EUGENE HALLICK Peacefully, our father, grandfather and brother passed away at Grace Hospital on October 29, 2007. Doug was born on May 4, 1928, to Gus and Marion Hallick. He was known as a tenacious person, with a passion for gardening and curling. Doug was awarded a lifetime membership in 1980 for the Starbuck Curling Club which was a tremendous honour for him. Doug was predeceased by his wife Beth, eldest son John, and sisters Margaret Hunt and Shirley (Harvey) Wrixon. Doug is survived by sons Dwight, Tom, Brent (Shelley), daughter-in-law Rachel, brother Gerald (Shirley), and brother-in-law Ted Hunt, as well as his beloved grandchildren Sydney, Taylor, Justine, and Dylan. Funeral service to take place at the Starbuck United Church on Friday, November 2, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Cathy Maxwell officiating. Interment will take place in the Starbuck Cemetery.
