WANDA (ALICE) FIRTH We are deeply saddened at the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on October 28, 2007, at the age of 93 years. Wanda is survived by her son Richard Firth (Linda) and daughter Pat Jeresky (Ted), six grandchildren their spouses and friends and six great-grandchildren as well as many other close relatives and friends residing throughout Canada and the US. Wanda was the loving wife of the late Gordon Firth who passed away January 1998 in Calgary. Born in Sprague Municipality, Manitoba, in 1914, Wanda grew up in Winnipeg where she later married and raised her family before moving to Calgary in 1997. Wanda was a longtime member of the Norwood Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and her firm belief in Bible promises were a mainstay in her life and a source of encouragement and comfort.
