Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT (JOE) BESSETTE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joe Bessette at the Health Sciences Centre on October 29, 2007 at the age 78 . Joe leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his life partner George Maloney, brother Ray Pressling, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Richard, sisters, Henriette, Yvonne, Jeanette and Helen, parents, Teleshpore and Annie Bessette. Joe was born in St. Joseph, Manitoba, August 15, 1929. Joe left Letellier where he grew up at an early age for the bright lights of Winnipeg. After several years of toiling at many jobs he began his 27 year career with the Department of Education, retiring in 1987. Joe enjoyed travelling and took many a memorable trip with his partner George. Uncle Joe will be fondly remembered as a hard working, gentle man who was always there to lend a helping hand to his family and was a devoted care-giver to his sister Helen in her final ailing years. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service celebrating Joe's life will be held on Saturday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Interment will take place in Letellier after the reception. All who wish to attend are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to a charity of one's choice.
