ELIZABETH (LIZ) BUTCHER Suddenly on October 28, 2007, our Mom went to be with our Dad, William (Bill) Butcher, who predeceased her on August 18, 2003. Left to cherish her memory are children, Cora, Fred, Darlene (Ron), Karen, and Lisa, grandchildren, Brett, Rachel, Jason, Justice, Jonathon, Caroline, and Brianna. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister Florence Boulanger, brothers, Oliver, William and Johnny Everett, brother-in-law George (Bev) Butcher of Williams Lake, BC and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear relatives and friends. Mom was born to John James and Alice Jane Everett on December 9, 1931 at Berens River, Manitoba. She spoke fluent Cree and Saulteaux and was proud of her heritage. She was very devoted to her family, and in recent years enjoyed attending Kildonan Community Church and the Country Gospel Coffee House. The family wishes to thank everyone who helped Mom, as well as our relatives and friends for their valued support during this difficult time. Service to be held at the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3. Viewing at 1:30 p.m. Interment and reception following the service.
