CHARLES ALEXANDER HENRY It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden death of Charles Alexander Henry on October 28, 2007 at the farmstead near Sanford, MB at the age of 59 years. Charles was predeceased by his father Everett in 1971. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carolyn, his children Lorna (Dale) Kellington, Leigh Ann Henry, and stepdaughter Lesley Vier. He will be deeply missed by his three grandchildren, Sydney, Kiersten and Luke. Charles leaves behind his mother, Lily and brothers Robert and William. Charles was born on February 5, 1948 and was raised in Starbuck. He took over the family farm in 1971 and began his own yard site in 1979. He devoted his life to farming. Charles was usually found tinkering in the machine shed or out in the yard. Charles was also dedicated to his career as a diesel mechanic, working for Mack Sales Ltd for the past 38 years. His passions in life included traveling, going to races at the speedway, and taking in live musical entertainment. He very much enjoyed the times spent with family and friends. Those of us who knew him were blessed, and we will cherish his memory in our hearts. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Starbuck, MB. Interment will follow immediately after the service at the Starbuck Cemetery. The family would like to thank Mr.Glen Schrof and the MacDonald Fire Paramedic Service for their quick response time and efforts.
