Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN WINSHIP July 31, 1916 - October 31, 2007 Peacefully, with his family at his side, John Winship passed away at the River East Personal Care Home on Wednesday, October 31, 2007. John is survived by his loving wife Iona; daughters, Bonnie, Lois and Nancy; sons, Paul and Gordon; their families; brother Gordon; sisters-in-law, Bessie Bolton, Joyce Kenning and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service and reception will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2007 in Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street with the Rev. Gary Clark officiating. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of River East Personal Care Home for their compassion and the outstanding quality of care given to John during his time there.
