MURRAY LAWRENCE NADEAU Murray left us too soon after a courageous battle with cancer. It is with our deepest sorrow that the family announces the passing of our loved one, husband, stepdad, son, brother and uncle on October 30, 2007 at Concordia Hospital. Murray was born on February 10, 1964 in Winnipeg. He wanted to be a truck driver since the day he was born and fulfilled his dream by driving long distance. He met Maryann and they married on July 27, 1996. He enjoyed being a stepfather to her five children; David (Sarah), Kevin (Ivana), Tamara, Sherilyn, Scott, and his travel companion, Nikko. He is also survived by his father, Edward (Marion); sisters, Arlene (Heinz), Lorraine (Dennis), Ruth (Glenn) and Sharon (Phil); Stepsiblings, Theresa (Don) and Trevor (Shuri); brothers-in-law, Glen (Rose), Jerry (Shelly) and Brian, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary in 1985, father-in-law, John in 2007, mother-in-law, Anna in 1986 and by his grandparents. Murray also leaves behind his longtime friend, Darren Quayes. We'd like to thank the nursing and aid staff at Concordia Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, R3C 2B7 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, R3C 0S6. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road with Deacon Lawrence Wakaruk officiating. Interment of cremated remains will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
