WILLIAM (BILL) RONALD FLOYD It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of William (Bill) Floyd at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 80 years. Remaining to forever cherish Bill's memory are his wife of 55 years of marriage, Irene; two sons, Paul (Debra) and Gord (Bernice); as well as four grandchildren, Andrew, Kristi, Adrianne and Erin. Bill was also thrilled about the birth of his first great-grandchild, Branden. He is also survived by his remaining sister, Phylis. Bill was born and raised in St. James. He was a bricklayer by trade and a member of the Bricklayers Union. Through the years, Bill enjoyed many hours fishing and ice fishing with his family. He loved playing crib and poker. Bill looked forward to his daily meetings at the top of the street. He was very proud of his family and enjoyed every minute spent with his grandchildren and most recent great-grandson. On Monday, November 5 Bill's funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the Paramedics and staff of the Grace Hospital and the I. C. U. staff at the Seven Oaks General Hospital.
