Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE (ANIELKA) HENZEL (nee KACHUR) Peacefully on October 30, 2007, with her family by her side, our dear mother, Nellie, passed away at the age of 87 years. Mom was born January 18, 1920 and grew up in Trentham, MB. She married Louis in 1935. Together they raised five children. She is survived by four sons, Eugene (Denise), Walter (Carol), Ray (Dianna) and Don (Colleen); 14 grandchildren, Farrell (Delores), Darrell (Nyla) and Monique Henzel, Debbie (Roger Gray), Kevin (Annette) and Richard (Traci) Henzel, Bryan Henzel, Linda (Bryan Morwick), Cynthia Yorski (Ed), Janice Buors (Kelly), Brenda Major (Fred), Donovan (Shannon), Danielle (Trevor) and Joel Henzel (Trista); 15 great-grandchildren, Etienne, Elise, Raeann, Nicole, Kyle, Ryan, Keaton, Kolron, Karissa, Sarah, Ian, Andrew, Joshua, Amber and Melissa, and two sisters, Sophie Pidsadny (Jim) and Olga Verestiuk. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis in 1989; only daughter, Elaine Pylypiuk in 2003; son-in-law, Maurice in 2004; granddaughter, Baby Pylypiuk in 1966; parents, Sam and Rosalie Kachur; brothers, John and Peter, and sisters, Frances Bogoslowski, Ann Phillips and Mary Stadnyk. A special thank you to Nellie's grand-daughter, Janice, and the dedicated staff of St. Paul's Ward, Holy Family Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 5 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave., the Rev. Fr. Isodore, celebrant. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Nellie's pallbearers will be her grand-children, Farrell, Darrell, Richard, Donovan and Bryan Henzel, and Cynthia Yorski.
