RUTH JESSIE ENGLISH (nee STUB) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ruth Jessie English on October 27, 2007 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli, Manitoba. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert of 53 years, her daughters Linda English and Anna Moldwon (Jason), her grandson Connor Moldwon whom she adored; her devoted little dog Kelly, many cousins and other dear relatives and friends. Ruth was pre-deceased by her parents Kai and Edna Stub and her brother Kai Stub Jr. Ruth lived most of her life in Fort Garry before retiring with Bob to the cottage in Sandy Hook in 1997. Ruth was an avid gardener, bird watcher and nature lover. After much hard work and careful planning Ruth transformed the cottage into a sanctuary full of flowers for her family and feathered friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Montoedi and the wonderful nursing staff at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli for their compassionate care of our Mom in her final hours. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow. Friends and family will be invited to a celebration of Ruth's life that will take place next summer amidst the flowers at the cottage in Sandy Hook. In keeping with Ruth's love of all creatures great and small, in lieu of flowers please make a donation in Ruth's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
