HERB BURNELL Unexpectedly, on November 1, 2007 at Concordia Hospital, Herb passed away at the age of 73. Herb will be missed by his loving wife Betty, daughter Corrie (Neil), son Todd (Jennifer), as well as Betty's family. Dad will be also remembered by his large loving family; Joyce (Konrad), Lorraine (Don), Vianney (Evelyn), Oscar (Carol), Audrey, Simone (Laurence), Frances (Bill), Ray (Denise), Ruth (Norman), and Dorothy (Ted). Herb will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews, as well as Kay's family in Saskatchewan. Herb was predeceased by his father Robert in 1987, mother Eleanora in 2000, wife Kay in 2004, sister Edith in 1978 and brother Gordon in 1997. Herb loved the great outdoors and mentored many on how to appreciate what it offered. He retired from Sears after 35 years of service. Always there with a helping hand and words of advice. He would always end his visits with Be good, be careful, and if you can't then name it Herbie. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Headingley Community Centre, 5353 Portage Ave., Headingley, MB with Reverend George Davidson officiating, and a reception to follow also at the community centre.
