ROBERT EMES Early Friday morning November 2, 2007 our father Robert Emes finally ended his journey at the age of 87. He will always be remembered by his dear wife Katherine and children, Jimmy (Linda), Buddy (Donna), Valerie (Bill), Douglas (Britta), William (Judy); grandchildren, Adam and Brooke, Jeffrey and Robert, Marnie and David, Serena and Christopher, Penny and Ronnie; great-grandchildren, Alex, Jessica, Meaghan, Isabella and Austin. Robert Emes was a Pioneer of the PMU Industry in Manitoba from 1966 - 1997 and farmed in the West St. Paul area all his life, and still enjoyed driving tractors in the fields well into his 80s. The family would especially like to thank all the staff at St. Joseph's Residence, 2nd Floor, for their professionalism and courtesy. You all exceeded our greatest expectations. Memorial service to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • My deepest sympathy to the family and especially Mrs. Emes. (Kate). My thoughts of Middlechurch and the fun times at the Emes' and the R&W Riding Academy will live forever in my memories! My nickname 'Pepper' given to me by Mr. Emes still gives me a chuckle. Best Regards, Tom Crerar - Posted by: Tom Crerar (Friend) on: Nov 05, 2007

  • My deepest sympathy to the Emes family and especially Mrs. Emes. I have many fond memories of Middlechurch and my 'second family', the Emes. The fun at the 'R&W Riding Academy' and my nickname 'Pepper' given to me by Mr. Emes will live in my heart forever. God Bless. - Posted by: Tom Crerar (Friend) on: Nov 05, 2007
