JANET LIVINGSTONE (nee MCFadzean) Peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at Concordia Hospital, Janet Brunton Livingstone passed away at the age of 86. Janet was born on January 28, 1921, to Elizabeth and Gavin McFadzean in Winnipeg, where she lived her entire life. Janet was the eldest of four children, a sister Margaret, and two brothers, Ron and Ken. She married her husband Jack on September 29, 1941, and was fortunate enough to be together for almost 65 years. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, both brothers and by her beloved husband Jack on August 30, 2006. She is survived by her sons, David (Esther), Ian (Jack) and Bruce (Barb). Also surviving are four grandchildren, Darrell (Michelle), Denise Medeiros (Jill), Sheila Kellington (Earl) and Abby Rushton; great-grandchildren, Taylor Medeiros, Gavin and Sarah Livingstone, Ethan and Trinity Rushton, as well as nieces and nephews. Mum was active all her life. She was a lifetime member of Lord Selkirk Camp of the Sons of Scotland and member of North Kildonan United Church. Until recently she belonged to the seniors group at the church. Mum moved to Kildonan House in January 2007 and loved living there, participating in bingo, current affairs, sing-songs and whatever else was going on. Thank you to the staff of Kildonan House for making mum's last few months so enjoyable. Funeral service to be held at North Kildonan United Church, 174 Pentland Street, on Monday, November 5 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing at 10:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow the service. Rev. Marc Whitehead officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Garden following the luncheon. Pallbearers will be Darrell Livingstone, Earl Kellington, John Medeiros, Gary Mullin, Bill Baker and Bob Cox. In lieu of flowers, donations to North Kildonan United Church, 174 Pentland Street, Winnipeg, MB R2G 2S3, would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME 885-9715
