GORDON ANDERSEN May 26, 1946 - November 1, 2007 Suddenly at home after a brief battle with lung cancer Gordon passed away at the age of 61 years. Gordon is pre deceased by his parents, Dorothy(Dot) and Hans Andersen. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Dawn; son Chris; daughter Dana (Ian) Richardson; grandsons, Ryan and Colin Richardson; parents-in-law Gail and Howard Lancaster; sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Gordon will be dearly missed by his coffee buddies at the St. Anne's Salisbury House. Gordon worked as an auto mechanic for many years. He was working for Direct Transport before retiring. Gordon loved driving his semi around town delivering groceries and loved spending his spare time at the cottage. Celebration of Gordon's life will be held on Wednesday November 7, 2007 at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West at Bond Street at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Robert Webster officiating. The family thank Dr. Navaratnam and Lori RN at Cancer Care for all of their care and concern. In lieu of flowers donation's may be made in Gordon's name to the Manitoba Theatre Centre or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
