HELENA FRIESEN 1926 - 2007 Early on Thursday morning, November 1, 2007 while at the Health Sciences Centre, Helena Friesen, unexpectedly passed away. She was born February 17, 1926 in Neuhorst, Manitoba. After briefly working in Winnipeg she moved to Toronto where she worked for Eaton's for 45 years. She moved back to Winnipeg after retiring to be close to her family. She is survived by her sisters, Marie and her husband Sven Haglund, Suzanne Kotecki, Sally Zacharias; brother Benjamin Friesen and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her older brother Henry Friesen and youngest sister Katherine David. The memorial service and interment will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, Highway #1 at Navin Road, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 7, 2007.
