ELEANORE MARLENE BAXTER (nee TANNER) Eleanore Marlene Baxter (nee Tanner) passed away peacefully on October 31, 2007 with family at her side at the Riverview Health Centre. She was born on November 11, 1946 at Waywayseecappo, Manitoba. She is survived by her husband Gerry Baxter and her daughter, Carrie Huntinghawk (Shannon); grandchildren, Fernando, Marcus, Cheyanna, Sasheena, Darius, Jaela, Chaske, Angeline, and Lydell. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her son Jethro Lee Tanner; parents, Francis and Louisa Tanner (nee Benn), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Eleanore attended the Birtle Indian Residential School. She loved music, dancing and was creative in making arts and crafts. She was generous and enjoyed giving gifts to people. She had a great sense of humour and liked to laugh at funny stories and jokes. Elly's family would like to express their thanks for the support and special care by all the doctors and nurses from the Health Science Center and the Riverview Health Centre. We will miss you dearly, we know you are now at peace never to suffer again. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Waywayseecappo Band Hall, Waywayseecappo, Manitoba. Interment at the Presbyterian Cemetery. Arrangements are by Braendle-Bruce Funeral Service of Russell, Manitoba.
