DOROTHY KISCHOOK (nee FROHWERK) Although we knew this day would come, the family of Dorothy Kischook is sad to announce her passing on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the age of 85, after a lengthy illness. Mom was born near Grahamdale, MB on August 8, 1922, the daughter of Emil and Julianna Frohwerk. She was raised and received her education near Grahamdale. Proudly left with a legacy of love and family heritage is her son Rod (Liz) Kischook, grandsons, Travis and Danial; sisters, Florence (Ted) Felbel, Laura Perreault, Ruth Doberstein and brother Albert (Fae) Frohwerk, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband George, her parents, brothers Roy, Fred, Emil and sisters Elsie and Helen. Mom was a devoted mother and grandmother who always looked forward to family gatherings. In recent years, she was also a very active member of the Branch #132 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Beausejour. She also rarely missed a bingo or meat draw at the legion. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff at the Beausejour District Hospital. Memorial Service to be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave East, Beausejour, MB at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 8, 2007. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #132, in Beausejour.
