ROSE LAMONT (LUY) Words cannot express the sadness we feel at the loss of our dear Mother. Peacefully on November 4, 2007 our beloved mother, Rose Lamont, passed away with her family by her side. Rose was predeceased by her husband, George, the love of her life. During her lifetime, Rose touched many people's lives in a very profound and meaningful way. Those who knew her will never forget her. Rose will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Rose leaves to mourn, six children and one grandchild, Gina (Ron), Penny (Gerald), Sherry (Jack) and Cory, Wendy (Tom), Deborah and Dave (Connie). Also left to cherish her memory are her four sisters, two brothers and their families. Mom loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, reading and volunteer work. Most of all she loved her family. We'll miss you Mom. More than we can say. You will never be forgotten. In our hearts you will always stay. We love you Mom. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the Oak Bank United Church, 582 Balsam Crescent, Oakbank, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rose's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Care Manitoba.
