DENNY AU Denny Au passed away at Beacon Hill Lodge on November 1, 2007 at age 83. His wife Rose and his brother Do Toy predeceased in 2003; nephews, William, Roy, Jian Hong, Ken, Doug, Yu Kwan and Keong of China; and nieces, Jean, Susie, Joan, Joyce and seven nieces in China will sadly miss him. Many grandnephews, grandnieces and friends will also sadly miss Denny. Born in Kai Ping, Guangdong, China, Denny married Rose in 1953 and immigrated to Canada in the 1950s. Denny worked mainly in the restaurant business as a chef till his retirement. His favorite pass time was playing mah jong with many of his friends in Chinatown and watching hockey and wrestling. We wish to thank all the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for their kindness and compassion. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 6 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
