AUDREY EILEEN SHELDON (nee HEIDAHL) 1941 - 2007 Suddenly on November 4, 2007, Audrey Sheldon passed away peacefully at Stonewall Hospital with her family at her side. Audrey was born September 16, 1941 at Stonewall Hospital to Alfred and Mae Heidahl. She was educated in Stonewall and married Dave Sheldon on September 19, 1969. Mom devoted most of her life to raising her seven children. She was a member of the Stonewall Legion and Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved to play cards. Mom was well liked and was known for her sense of humour. She was predeceased by her parents; sister Gail Power, and brother Lloyd Heidahl. Audrey is survived by her loving husband Dave; children Brian, Sandy (Bob), Rob (Tammy), Lani (Cameron), Lori (Gene), Jodi (Graeme), Scott; grandchildren Devon, Kristine, Cheyenne, Amanda, Sara, Jamieson; sisters Donna Main, Karen Martens, brothers-in-law Jim Sheldon and Ralph (Sarah) Sheldon and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 8 at 2:30 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall with interment to follow at Stonewall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
