Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCY GILCHRIST (nee HOOKER) Lucy Gilchrist peacefully left us on November 1, 2007 at the Deer Lodge Hospital. Born April 12, 1920, she lived in Hove Sussex, England until she met and married a handsome soldier in 1943, then came to Winnipeg as a war bride. Always handy with her hands and a card game. She will be missed by sons, Wayne (High River, Alberta), Robert (Winnipeg), daughter Jannice (Nanaimo, BC) and son-in-law Dave Johnson (Winnipeg). Lucy is now reunited with daughter Kathy (Johnson) and loving husband Cecil Edward. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Deer Lodge for their wonderful care of our mother. A memorial service will be held on November 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
