MEL S. FOGG One year has passed since our beloved brother, Mel, crossed the bar. We deeply miss him. Our growing up years in St. James were spent as a very close, happy family. Then the Second World War came along. Mel and Stan joined the Navy and the family parting began. Mel turned down a promising career in the NHL to stay in St. James, marry and raise a family. Ray, Joy, Gary, Audrey, Miranda, Gertrude and Lyle were deeply blessed to have spent a truly wondrous Monday with Mel. He showed us patience, courage and love, on that miraculous day and we will never, ever, forget those blessed hours. He fought a hard fight to bide a while longer with us all, possibly waiting for others to come, so he could bid them farewell? Ray and I were not at his funeral, even though we were his family, as some have yet to learn the true meaning of family! Predeceased by his father Stan Fogg DCM, mother Maud, brothers Stanley of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Calum, who died in infancy, nephew Reg Fogg of Toledo, Ohio, sister-in-law Liz Fogg and Mel's wife Janet. Mel will be forever in the memory of his sister Joy Fogg Kapusta and brother-in-law John Kapusta, brother Raymond Fogg, nephews John D. Kapusta, Sean Kapusta, Tod Fogg of Clarke Lake Michigan, Robert Fogg of Nevada and nieces Kathy Kapusta, Shauna Kapusta and all their respective families. Beautiful memories are wonderful things, They last till the longest day, They never wear out and they never get lost, And can never be given away. To some you may be forgotten, To others a part of the past, But to us who loved and lost you. Your memory will always last. Raymond Fogg and Joy Fogg Kapusta
