LUCILA ARCE June 28, 1953 - November 5, 2007 Peacefully with family by her side Lucila passed away on November 5, 2007 at the Health Sciences Center. Lucila will be lovingly missed by her husband Alberto, daughter Kathrine (Robert), sons, John and Manuel, sisters, Alicia (Arnaldo), Susan (Abelardo), brother Ignacio (Maximina), grandchildren, Keishawn, Leilan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Lucila was predeceased by her parents Alfonso and Restituta. Lucila was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin. She worked at Oakview Place for over 20 years. Lucila loved to sing and dance, spend time with friends and family. The family would like to give thanks to Armando and Lynn Gabriel and family for their support and kindness as well as the MICU staff at the Health Sciences Center, and a special thanks to the pallbearers. Lamay will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. - midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Avenue, with Fr. Michael Koryluk officiating.
