JOHN E. REMPEL 1922 - 2007 On Monday, November 5, 2007 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, John E. Rempel of the Morden district aged 85 years went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter, Elizabeth Leatherdale and Jim Taylor of the Morden district; one son, Paul and Rhonda Rempel of Morden; one grandson, RJ Leatherdale; four sisters and two brothers. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen (nee Fehr) in 1999; one sister and one brother. Viewing will be today from 10:00 a.m. til noon and prior to the service. Funeral service will be held (today) Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden with Rev. Jake Buhler officiating. Interment to follow at Herald Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in John's memory to CancerCare Manitoba 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON 109, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
