  • Aunty Lorraine was an genuine, loving person who would go way out of her way to do anything for anybody. About 15 years after she had part of a lung taken out from cancer, I said to her, "maybe Mom would still be alive, if she would have had her cancer check-ups like you", to which she replied, "are you kidding, I never had any check-ups...I was afraid they might find something." (She never did quit smoking), but had a great attitude and probably walked 5-10 miles a day until she was about 70. She made a positive difference in many people's lives and I will always remember her fondly. Lorne - Posted by: Lorne Ostrov (Nephew) on: Feb 19, 2013
