BETTY SIDORYK (nee SOTAS) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Betty at her home with her loving family by her side on November 3, 2007 at the age of 53 succumbing to a brain stem tumor since 1994. She will be sadly missed by her husband Ron of 34 years, her daughter Tracy (Craig) Drimes, grandchildren, Jeremy and James; mother Margaret, sister Wilma, brother Lloyd( Lillian) and brother Harry (Eli), sister-in-law Diana, mother-in-law Pauline, brother-in-law Miles (Lori), brother-in-law Alan (Debbie), sister-in-law Noella (Gerry) as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, extended family, friends, acquaintances and colleagues. She was predeceased by her father Michael, brother Wayne and father-in-law Michael. At her request cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place in Russell, MB at a future date. We are so immensely and eternally grateful to all the immediate family members who provided such immeasurable support in so many various ways during the last three years of Betty's challenging health journey. This verse was Betty's wish for us all: When you think of me don't cry I'm the Wind, the Rain, And the Birds in the Sky, When you think of me Think of a Butterfly. The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care provided by staff of HSC CancerCare, Home Care and Palliative Care Manitoba.
