SONDRA ANITA LONDON (nee ZAITZ) Peacefully on November 5, 2007, Sondra (Sandy) London passed away at the Grace Hospice with friends by her side. Sondra, was born in New Jersey on September 22, 1933 and she moved to Winnipeg with her husband and family in 1966. Predeceased by her father Abraham Zaitz and her mother Frances Zaitz and her husband of 53 years Frank London. She will always be remembered for her smile, and with a smile by her daughter, Michelle London, (Robben Salyers, husband), son, Craig London, her grandchildren: Shaunlee, Leigha, Mara, Seth, Angela, Louis, Melissa, and Carl. Sondra, also is being mourned by Bev London, her two brothers Ira (Michele), and Fred (Marsha) Zaitz and her sister Susan (Randy) Munkascsi, sister-in-law Beverly (William) Stephens and the many nieces, nephews, and cousins. To know her truly was to love her and so Sandy leaves behind many close and loving friends. During her struggle this last few years, both with her husband's progressive illness and her own cancer, she showed great strength of character and stood steadfast in her passion for life: A lesson to all who were around her. The family would like to thank the staff of the Grace Hospice for the loving - compassionate care of Sandy, She died with dignity and we will forever be indebted to the Grace Hospice of Winnipeg for giving her this opportunity.
