MARY TEPERTO December 22, 1922 - November 8, 2007 Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by John, her loving husband of 56 years, whom she missed so dearly. She was also predeceased by her son Ray and her brother John. She is now on a journey to meet them again. Mary is survived by her daughter Rosemary (Gary); son Robert (Vera); daughter-in-law Aileen (Ken); her grandchildren, Todd (Valerie), Marc (Jennifer), Corigan (Lisa), Derek (Karmyn), Jill (Aron), Michael, Jamie (Chris), Christian and Noah and her great-grandchildren, Megan, Erica, Carter, Nathan and Trinity. Mary emigrated with her family from Hungary to Ontario in 1933. She married John in 1946 and they settled in Winnipeg. Mary was very involved in community activities, supporting her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in all their interests. She directed her boundless energy into crafts and cooking which were her passions and she loved to share these with family and friends. Mary (Na-na, Gramma) especially enjoyed family gatherings and always took requests for her special entrees and desserts. She enjoyed weekends at home or away camping, actively playing backyard games (Na-na's Golf) with her large family. Anyone who was fortunate to know her will be saddened by her passing but we ask that they celebrate the wonderful life she lead and cherish every memory. A special thanks to Dr. A. S. Dhillon and Dr. W. Yeung and the nursing staff at Langley Memorial Hospital for their kindness and support. Prayers with viewing will be on Monday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. and Mass will be on Tuesday, November 13 at 10:00 am. Both held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 20675 87th Avenue, Langley, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canuck Place Children's Hospice 1690 Matthews Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 2T2.
