JERROLD FRANK NEUMANN 1944 - 2007 It is with deep sorrow that the family of Jerry (Char-lee) Neumann announces his sudden passing at the age of 63 on Saturday, November 10, 2007 with his family by his side. Jerry was born in St. Jean Baptiste on July 7, 1944 and was raised in Winnipeg. Char-lee had a great sense of humour. He was a great loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was very supportive and proud of his children's accomplishments. He often coached the kid's baseball and softball teams. He attended River East Collegiate and was one of the first students when the school opened. He was a star basketball player for the Kodiaks. Jerry was particularly proud when he began building his house to provide a home for his family. Jerry was employed with Weston Bakeries for 35 years. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Joanne of 38 years, his loving children Trevor (Jackie), Tammi and Todd (Laurie) of whom he was extremely proud of. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his Grandson Nicholas Parch and his new little princess Jesslyn born November 8, 2007. Also left to mourn his passing are brothers Ray (Bernice), Robert (Dolores) and sister Lynda (Guy) his Auntie Stella Copp, his many nieces, nephews and all of his cousins and friends. Jerry was predeceased by his father John in 1948, his mother Jean in 1971 and mother and father-in-law, Walter and Carrie Bedrich. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holy Redeemer Parish Centre, 264 Donwood Drive. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations to the Children's Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 3J2, or charity of one's choice would be appreciated.

  • I fondly remember working with him at Weston's Bakery from 94-98. I kept in touch with his son, Trevor. I only found out today, that he and his son have passed away. Rip, my friend. - Posted by: Daniel Lucien Marcoux (Co-worker at Weston's Bakery ) on: Oct 07, 2022
