JOHN MAHON 1941 - 2007 Suddenly on November 11, 2007, one day following his 66th birthday, John Mahon passed away. John is lovingly remembered by his wife of 29 years, Lucille; children, Noreen (Craig) Merritt, Adrienne (Stuart) Tkachuk, Carol (Bill) Clay; and grandchildren, Sarah, Madeline, William; and cousin Mary (Austin) Lynch. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law Ruth Smerchanski in July 2006. John enjoyed spending time with his friends and his loved ones. He was also a longtime member of West Kildonan Legion Branch 30, where he had many special friends. We will all miss him dearly. Celebration of John's life will take place on Friday, November 16, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at West Kildonan Legion, 1748 Main Street, Winnipeg MB.
