MARY - JEAN KOZIER (nee SCHULTZ) January 2, 1937 - November 10, 2007 With heavy hearts, we mourn the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother Mary - Jean on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 70 years, with family members by her side. Remaining to forever cherish Mary - Jean's memory are her children, Brenda (Greg), Brian (Cathy), Larry, Jeff, Alan and Louise; grand-children, Jennifer (Kevin), Steven, Donna (David), Stacey, Garrick, Carly, Jeremy, Erin, Mathew, Tanner, Jordan and Jasmine. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence in 2004. Mary - Jean was born in Winnipeg and raised in Beausejour, MB. She moved to Winnipeg and married Lawrence in 1956. While raising her own six kids, Mary - Jean supplemented the family income by baby-sitting dozens of children who fondly referred to her as Aunty Mary. Her passions: shopping, shopping, baking, cookbook collecting and trying out all the new recipes for her family to enjoy. She was strong and fearless, stubborn, patient, thoughtful and proud. Her personality is unforgettable. Mary - Jean loved her children equally, without fail. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church, 254 Arnold Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinski presiding.
